Social Studies, Science, And Health In Grade Two

This reproducible book has over 600 pages (16 units) that match or surpass the social studies, science, and health curriculum as outlined by the Ministry of Education.

This book includes many teacher extras such as long range plans, term-by-term student checklists, tests, and unit evaluation pages. There are three healthy units, eight social studies units, and five science units in this book.

Each unit is self-contained and includes: a title page, teaching pictures, brainstorming pages, activity pages, and tests. The many reading and writing activities throughout this book will help to strengthen basic language skills.

The book is organized by year in a sequential order that is clear and easy to follow. Each month, all the teacher has to do is check over the units provided, decide which teaching pictures and activities are needed, then make individual booklets for each student. The teacher decides what material is suitable for that year's students and controls the content and amount of activities the students can handle. Using this format, teachers control the curriculum used and avoid unnecessary photocopying.
